[Translate to English:] Jon Lerche.

1. Why did you choose to work at the Department of Business Development and Technology? And 2. What is your research area and what will you be doing here?
I will be employed as an industrial PhD student. My research area will be scenario planning, high-value production, offshore logistics and how to transfer these to offshore construction environments/construction sites.

3.       What is your educational background?
I completed my MSc in Engineering at BTECH in 2014 with a focus on business development and innovation. As such, my relationship with and knowledge of the organisation Aarhus BSS is limited and general.
I’m also a marine engineer and have a Master’s degree in technology-based business development.

4.       What have you done before?
I’ve worked as a Lean Project Manager at Siemens Wind Power, where I made processes and working procedures more flexible to reduce the cost of wind power. I’ve done supplementary training as a business engineer and have e.g. prepared a procedure for handling the waste from wind turbines globally, both onshore and offshore.

At Siemens, I developed uniform work procedures e.g. for how Siemens erects and installs 6 MW wind turbines at sea.

5.       Please tell us a bit about yourself, your family and your leisure activities.
I have a girlfriend in Aarhus (no children), I’m moving to Hamburg in January 2017, and I like art, wine, snowboarding, martial arts and travelling.
