Title: The impact and application of digital technologies in renewable energy systems, value chain and business models.
We have the pleasure to introduce Daniel Luecht, Chief Digital Officer (CDO) at Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, for our research seminar. Daniel comes with an extensive background in management of technology-based business development ranging from the automotive industry (BMW), to product development in the wind industry (Nordex, SWP, Envision), and now focusing on the digitalization of the energy industry (SGRE). Meanwhile driving the global transition towards renewables, Daniel is also conducting his PhD on the impact and application of digital technologies in renewable energy systems, value chain and business models in collaboration with CET. Daniel’s presentation will take offset in his PhD, and he will elaborate on the impact and need of digitalization in the renewable energy industry, and furthermore inform how such external factors will drive future product developments.
