Profile:
Dr. Ismail Gölgeci is an associate professor at Aarhus University, Herning, Denmark. Previously, he has worked as a lecturer in marketing at Norwich Business School, University of East Anglia. He holds a DSc in Economics and Business Administration from University of Vaasa and MSc in Supply Chain Management from Chalmers University of Technology. His research interests include international marketing strategy, global supply chain management, sustainability, and innovation. His research has been published in Journal of International Business Studies, Human Relations, Industrial Marketing Management, Supply Chain Management: An International Journal, Technology Analysis & Strategic Management, Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management, among others. He also serves on the Editorial Board of the Review of International Business and Strategy.
Ismail is currently running a research project on The Impact of Global Value Chains on Environmental and Social Responsibility of Emerging Market Firms and welcomes PhD students on global value chains and sustainability.
