Why did you choose to work at the Department of Business Development and Technology?
Aarhus University is the top-notch public sector international university around the world. It provides an opportunity to learn in multi-culture and multi-religious environments. Aarhus University is a confluence of people from all over the world with different religions, races and nationalities. Generally, advancement of the personality can be done, and it helps me to broaden my concept from the deficit confines of nationalism to internationalism. Secondly, AU has the world's top-class faculty and provides state-of-the-art research facilities to employees and students.
What is your area of work?
My research interest lies in the field of wireless communication with an emphasis on resource allocation, physical layer security and channel estimation. I am currently working as an Early-Stage Researcher on safe and secure drone design and operations in the MOTOR5G project under a Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant.
What is your background?
I am an Electrical (Telecommunication) Engineer by profession. I did my master's and bachelor’s from COMSATS University Islamabad, Pakistan. I have diverse experience in system administration, operation support services and academics. The industries and academics already served are (in chronological order): i) Nokia Solutions and Networks, Pakistan; ii) Abasyn University Islamabad; iii) ERISP Pvt. Ltd, Pakistan and iv) OpenM4S project at UET Peshawar, Pakistan.
Please tell us a bit about yourself, your family and your leisure activities
My family consists of six members: both parents, a sister, a wife and a baby boy. I like to spend my spare time gardening, playing table tennis and hiking. I am always open to making new connections, interacting with people and discussing many aspects of life.
