I am an industrial engineer from Aalborg University, where I also did my PhD and worked as a researcher for a few years before joining Vestas Wind Systems. Over the past nearly twenty years, I have taken on various challenges within manufacturing, supply chain, strategy and digitalisation, only interrupted by a year in management consultancy, which was also a great learning experience.
I am thrilled to return to academia, and to BTECH in particular, because of the close collaboration with industry through a reflective practitioner approach. My previous research has been case-based and action-oriented, and I expect to continue along this path, as I very much enjoy the interaction and taking both problem-oriented and appreciative inquiry approaches. My main areas of interest are operations and supply chain management.
I am married and the mother of two grown-up daughters. I – and we – love to travel or simply hang out at home or in our summer house by the beach. I enjoy outdoor activities and gardening, and I feel fortunate to have a global network of friends from my time as an exchange student, as well as close relationships with neighbours, family and friends.
