Say hi to Zenna Emma Linnéa Fiscella, research assistant
Read more about her work areas, professional background, hobbies and more.
Why did you choose to work at BTECH?
I decided to work at BTECH after I did a Horizon 2020-funded project via NGI and got in contact with Mirko Presser. I understood that BTECH was active in research projects and well-positioned among European researchers.
What is your area of work?
My research centres on communication infrastructures, specifically resilient and adaptive systems such as local-first, peer-to-peer and distributed protocols.
What is your professional background?
I'm embedded in larger networks of activists and hackers (the nice kind) and have for the past 16 years been a part of projects such as Scuttlebutt the Gossiping Protocol, the Nordic and Global FabLab Network as well as prototyping labs in Sweden.
Would you like to share a bit about yourself, your family and your hobbies?
In my spare time, I get nerdy with Obsidian (SQL note-taking app), read sci-fi books, play boardgames with my partner and listen to music.
