Nisha Hemantha Raju

A short intro: Who are you, and what’s your professional background?
I am a new PhD student who started in September, returning to academia after seven years in industry. My background is in computer engineering, with expertise in software performance benchmarking. I hold Master’s degrees in Computer Engineering and Technology Management, both of which have inspired me to pursue a PhD at the intersection of technology and business.

What is your area of work?
I am studying the implications of AI integration in innovation processes from an organisational perspective, with a focus on examining how new AI technologies are adopted through a socio-technical lens.

Why did you choose to work at BTECH?
The PhD programme at BTECH offers a strong platform for interdisciplinary research, which aligns closely with my research interests in exploring the intersection of technology and organisational processes. The dynamic environment, where engineers and organisational scholars collaborate, is an ideal fit for me.

Would you like to share a bit about yourself, your family and your hobbies?
I’m new to Denmark and excited to explore the country and its culture. Most of my family is in India, so I usually plan a trip home during the winter or spring break. In my free time, I love travelling 🌍, hiking 🥾, and reading fiction 📖.
