How to invite guest researchers to BTECH

BTECH welcomes guest researchers as they bring unique perspectives, expertise, and methodologies from their institutions or cultural backgrounds, and help establish and strengthen international connections, networks and research collaboration.

It’s important that BTECH has an overview of the visiting scholars you plan to invite as guests, as research collaborations agreements, work and residence permit need to be obtained, and citizens of high-risk countries must undergo a background screening before they can be invited to work at Aarhus University

Who counts as a guest researcher

  • Researchers who are not employed by AU
  • PhD students who are not enrolled at AU
  • International students doing work placements at AU
  • People conducting research support work at AU or using research equipment at AU who are not employed by AU
