Title: Collaborating with practice partners for teaching and research through engaged scholarship

Abstract: This talk will discuss engagement with practice as the means for scholarship to activate its transformative societal potential. Inspired by fields of engaged scholarship and design, Ghita will present and reflect pluralistic (“critical-creative”) approaches to collaboration with practice in teaching and research. Her ambition is to strengthen research relevance and responsibility by moving beyond problem diagnosis and dissemination to co-creation of knowledge and social change.
