Topic of presentation: Recovery of Global Technology Program

Overview: Present the story of how we recovered a global program that delivered a connected car platform. I will cover:

• Overview of program building and operating a global connected car platform (5M+ cars over 100 countries)
• Challenge 1: Program delivery not driving the expected business outcome
• Challenge 2: Platform Cloud cost exceeding planned budgets
• Challenge 3: Platform performance & stability not meeting requirements

Bio: Michael Makris graduated from the ECE Department of the National Technical University in Athens. He holds an MBA from London Business School and a Master’s from the Carnegie Mellon University. He has been working for Microsoft in the UK for almost 14 years. Now he is Global Program Director and he has been involved in many strategic partnership global programs.
